Accessibility

The Roc-King Club is an event that aspires to be fully inclusive. We have taken many steps to ensure that our event is accessible to as many guests as possible, including guests with accessibility requirements and additional needs.

On this page you will find further information on the services we offer to assist guests. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please let us know via access@theroc-kingclub.com.

Accessibility

For our guests requiring additional assistance, The Roc-King Club offers Personal Assistant concession tickets sold at a 50% discounted rate.

Personal Assistant concession tickets are available for all our shows and show timings.

To ensure you have the correct ticket during check in, a Personal Assistant concession ticket must be selected and purchased during your booking.

No additional concession tickets will be available during check-in on the day of the event.

To ensure that as many guests as possible are able to enjoy the Roc-King Club experience, PA Concession Tickets are limited to one per booking. For additional PA concession tickets on one booking, please contact us at access@theroc-kingclub.com

During the booking process please select one PA Concession Ticket and the number of tickets required for the children.

Once evidence of eligibility is received, your PA Concession Ticket is a valid adult ticket.

Once you have confirmed and paid for your booking you will be prompted to provide proof of PA evidence by submitting eligibility documents. At which point a member of our team will approve the PA Concession Ticket.

Currently, we accept the following eligibility evidence:

  • Letter or notice of entitlement for DLA, PIP, AA, or Carer’s Allowance
  • Blue parking badge* or Disabled Freedom Pass
  • DID Card of Access Card*

Please note, failure to provide evidence will result in the PA Concession Ticket being removed from the booking.

Please note that due to health and safety, all guests attending the event, require a valid ticket, including PA’s.  All PA Concession Tickets must be approved prior to your visit. Any guest without a valid ticket, including a PA Concession Ticket, will be refused entry.

STEP 1: Once you are ready to book your tickets, you will be asked to select the type of tickets you require for each member of your party.

STEP 2: For your PA, please select a Personal Assistance Concession Ticket for the adult in your booking.

STEP 3: Once you have made your booking, you will be prompted to submit eligibility evidence for your PA.

STEP 4: When your evidence has been received and authorized by a member of our team, your PA Concession Ticket will be approved.

STEP 5: Contact us if you need any assistance relating to your PA Concession Ticket.

Absolutely, we cannot wait to meet you all!

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our Roc-King Club team and looked after throughout your visit.

The main entrance to the Porchester Hall is located on Porchester Road. Doors leading to the hall will be easily visible from the main road.

This is the only point of entrance.

To help the Roc-King Club team create an unforgettable experience, there will be elements of lighting, sound, and other sensory enhancements that we would like to let you know about prior to your visit.

Please visit our FAQ’S page here for more information about our special/technical effects.

Epilepsy and Photosensitivity

Some elements of the experience which may disturb guests with epilepsy or photosensitivity include:

  • Stage lighting
  • Lighting changes
  • Coloured strobe lights
  • Flash photography
  • Dazzling effects

Some elements of the experience will include sudden loud noises, sound FX, microphones and guest participation (cheering, clapping, music, etc.)

For guests with noise anxiety, ear defenders are available in the following areas:

  • Check-In

Please do ask our Roc-King Club team on the day, who will be able to arrange these for you. To ensure that as many guests as required can benefit from the use of our ear defenders, we kindly ask that these be returned to us at the end of the event.

Albie’s Hub is like a warm hug – it is a quite relaxed area away from the main hall, dedicated to guests who may be feeling overwhelmed and wish to leave their tables. The hub has been carefully designed to provide an opportunity for our younger guests who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. During our show, a member of The Roc-King team will always be on hand to assist you down to Albie’s hub.
